Viridi RE continues to develop and build strategic projects in 2025 and aims to implement infrastructure that will enable the use of renewable energy in the regions where it operates.

By 2025, the company projects a 42% growth in its pipeline development, driven by projects such as AkuaippaHy, which plans to build a green hydrogen and green methanol plant in La Guajira, in addition to other solar projects totaling around 90 MW that are expected to be built this year.

These figures build on the company’s 2024 results, which saw 88% growth and revenues of approximately US$3 million from the conceptualization, development, and sale of large-scale renewable energy generation projects.

Additionally, it signed sales agreements for two projects for approximately US$2.3 million , which are under development and expected to be ready for sale this year.

This year, the government aims to sign agreements worth US$12 million and obtain environmental licenses for four large-scale projects, with investments of around US$5 million. This is a fundamental step toward advancing the development of projects that drive the energy transition.

Carolina Obando, country manager of Viridi RE, said :

This will be the year for the conceptualization and prefeasibility of the AkuaippaHy green hydrogen project .
