The agreement, signed at the EWE representative office in Berlin, was attended by Parliamentary State Secretary Gitta Connemann and Lower Saxony’s Minister President Olaf Lies, according to the source Hydrogen Europe.

Under the terms of the deal, EWE will deliver 10,000 tons of green hydrogen per year from Emden to support the SALCOS program—Salzgitter Low CO2 Steelmaking.
