Go Energy Announces the Launch of TRON, Europe’s First Green AI Hyperscale Campus, to Be Developed in Trigueros – Spain – A project linked to renewable hydrogen
Huelva, December 5, 2025 — Go Energy has officially announced the launch of TRON, an innovative technological project that will position the province of Huelva as a European and global leader in sustainable artificial intelligence. The project, to be developed across the municipalities of San Juan del Puerto, Trigueros, and Gibraleón, envisions the creation of Europe’s first green AI hyperscale campus, with a planned capacity of 200 MW and operations scheduled to begin in 2028.
Located on the historic Millares livestock estate, TRON will be a next-generation technological ecosystem incorporating the most advanced data center technologies available worldwide. Its construction and operation will rely entirely on renewable energy, making it a benchmark model for the sustainable deployment of digital infrastructure.
A project linked to renewable hydrogen
TRON is strategically integrated with the renewable hydrogen and ammonia project that Go Energy is currently processing in its final permitting phase, ensuring a stable, green, and competitive energy supply for the facilities. This integrated approach positions the development as a unique industrial and technological hub in Europe, aligned with national and EU climate and energy transition objectives.
Investment, employment, and regional dynamism
The project represents an investment of over €1.5 billion euros and the creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs, boosting the economic and social dynamism of the participating municipalities and the province of Huelva as a whole.
Thanks to its scale and strategic significance, TRON has received institutional support from all political parties and is designated as a supramunicipal project of general interest, underscoring its relevance and its role as a driving force for regional development.
World-class partnerships
Go Energy has assembled a top-tier technical and corporate team, including prestigious firms such as TSK and Garrigues, as well as global technological partners including Ally, Power Electronics, Neurair, Value On, NVIDIA, among other international collaborators who will contribute cutting-edge solutions to the campus infrastructure.
A milestone for Europe
With TRON, Huelva positions itself at the forefront of global technological innovation, hosting one of the most significant sustainable digital infrastructure projects in Europe. The campus will consolidate the province as a hub for innovation, green energy, and advanced capabilities in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing.
