Fertiliser major Yara will buy and sell green ammonia from the 2.2GW Neom green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia after finalising a marketing and distribution agreement with industrial gas firm Air Products.
The deal, which has been under negotiation since last year, will see Yara take green ammonia from the plant in Oxagon on a free-on-board basis and sell it across its wider network, supported by 12 ammonia vessels and 18 import terminals.
