Six green hydrogen projects selected for per kilogramme subsidies in the second European Hydrogen Bank auction have signed grant agreements representing €270.6m ($317.5m).
The projects, located in Finland, Spain, and Norway, will receive between €0.33 ($0.39) and €1.88 ($2.21) per kilogramme of renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO)-compliant produced over 10 years, funded by Emissions Trading Scheme revenues.
Combined, the schemes will add over 380MW of electrolyser capacity, producing up to 492,000 tonnes of green hydrogen over a decade.
