The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) actively represented India at the European Hydrogen Week 2025, held in Brussels from 29th September to 3rd October. A delegation led by Shri Sanjay Sharma, Director (Solar), showcased SECI’s expanding role in advancing the green hydrogen and green ammonia ecosystem under India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission.
During the event, SECI highlighted a significant achievement: the successful conclusion of its Green Ammonia Tenders in August 2025, which revealed globally competitive pricing. This milestone underscores India’s growing reputation as a credible and cost-effective player in the global renewable fuels market.

SECI also contributed to policy discussions on the EU’s Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) regulations, stressing the need for regulatory frameworks that are fair, harmonized, and flexible to support equitable energy transitions for developing economies.
By engaging with international stakeholders, SECI reaffirmed India’s commitment to global collaboration in developing affordable, sustainable, and high-quality green fuels. The corporation continues to serve as a key implementation arm for India’s green hydrogen ambitions, fostering partnerships that align with the shared vision of a net-zero future.
