RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is making steady progress in advancing the circular carbon economy and green hydrogen production as part of broader efforts to address climate challenges through technology and investment, according to Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir.

Speaking to Al-Eqtisadiah on the sidelines of the Absher Conference, Al-Jubeir said the Kingdom has made tangible progress in deploying new technologies that support more efficient energy use while expanding the production of alternative and renewable energy sources.

He said technological innovation plays a central role in improving energy efficiency across multiple sectors and reducing emissions linked to traditional energy consumption.

Al-Jubeir also said Saudi investments in technology are contributing beyond the Kingdom’s borders, supporting global efforts to confront climate challenges.
