Lhyfe supplies renewable hydrogen to French motorway station

The company currently operates four production sites in France and Germany.

France has launched its first motorway hydrogen refueling station capable of serving heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), marking a significant step in the country’s low‑carbon mobility strategy. The station, operated by TEAL Mobility, has been supplied with renewable hydrogen by Lhyfe since November 2025.

Located on the A4 motorway in the Grand Est region, the site connects France with Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium, creating a new hydrogen corridor for freight operators travelling along major east‑west and north‑south routes.

Lhyfe supplies the station under a multi‑year agreement. The company currently operates four production sites in France and Germany, totaling 21 MW, with capacity expected to rise by 70% in 2026.

With a fleet of 70 type‑IV hydrogen transport containers, Lhyfe says it can ensure reliable deliveries as hydrogen mobility expands.
