KP Group has signed multiple agreements to explore opportunities in the green hydrogen sector, strengthening its position in the clean energy transition and advancing global collaboration. KP Group entered into a strategic international partnership with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province of South Korea. The agreement aims to accelerate the development of the global green hydrogen ecosystem. It will achieve this through joint initiatives and cross-border cooperation.
Collaboration with Global Energy Leaders
As part of the initiative, KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia, a subsidiary of KP Group, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jeonbuk Province, along with GH2 Solar Ltd and AHES Co Ltd, two leading companies in the renewable energy sector. According to KPI Green Energy, “the collaboration marks a pivotal step towards strengthening international cooperation for clean energy, particularly in the rapidly growing global green hydrogen sector.”
Focus on Technology Exchange and Project Development
The agreement emphasizes technology exchange in water electrolysis and hydrogen production facilities, a critical step in scaling up green hydrogen capabilities. The partners plan to jointly develop large-scale green hydrogen projects. They also aim to expand the green hydrogen market across India and other international regions.
