At its Belfort, France facility, personnel have manufactured the inaugural electrolysis stack built locally via a novel production line. Concurrently, in Aspach, a 40 MW production phase is commencing for a green hydrogen initiative in the Netherlands, subsequent to the supply of 25 MW of electrolyzers for a Belgian plant. On July 8, 2025, the Belfort Commercial Court approved John Cockerill Hydrogen’s offer to purchase McPhys’s core holdings, which encompassed the Belfort site, advanced technologies, intellectual property, and roughly 80 staff members across Europe.
