The scheme outlines clear methods for measuring, monitoring, verifying, and certifying Green Hydrogen.
Agreements have been signed to export 4.12 lakh tonnes of Green Hydrogen derivatives to Japan and Singapore.
The National Green Hydrogen Mission, launched on 4th January 2023 with Rs 19,744 crore till FY 2029–30, aims to boost clean energy, cut fossil fuel imports, and support India’s self-reliance.
MNRE is working with states on Power Purchase Agreements and coordinating with the Power Ministry and CERC to resolve key energy issues.
At a workshop, the Minister encouraged MSMEs to support renewable energy adoption and create local jobs through last-mile implementation.
