Hydrogen energy an enabler of green transition

HONG KONG – Worldwide experts and practitioners in the hydrogen energy industry gathered at a hydrogen symposium in Hong Kong, exchanging the latest technological advancements, engineering solutions, and future trends.

The International Hydrogen Development Symposium 2026 is a flagship event in Hydrogen Week 2026, gathering over 1,000 guests, experts, and participants, and with an exhibition area of nearly 4,000 square meters.

“A rapid and effective green transition is essential for our future, and hydrogen represents one of the most promising pathways toward a sustainable energy landscape,” Diane Wong Shuk-han, acting secretary for environment and ecology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, said in her welcoming speech at the event.

“Around the world, governments and industries are ramping up efforts to advance hydrogen technologies and infrastructure, recognizing them as a key enabler of this clean energy transition,” Wong said.
