Greenzo Energy India Limited and Lord’s Mark Industries Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop green hydrogen and renewable energy projects across Uttar Pradesh. The companies plan to build about 60 MW of green hydrogen capacity along with rooftop solar installations supported by battery storage systems. The projects are expected to come up in cities such as Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi, and Lucknow.
Under the agreement, Greenzo Energy will handle engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, while Lord’s Mark Industries will lead project development, financing, regulatory approvals, and commercial planning.
The partnership builds on Lord’s Mark Industries’ earlier agreement with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for renewable energy projects with an estimated investment of more than ₹2,000 crore. The collaboration is expected to support the state’s clean energy goals and help reduce industrial emissions.
Greenzo Energy Managing Director Sandeep Agarwal said the partnership combines local hydrogen technology with project development expertise to support large-scale clean energy projects. Lord’s Mark Industries Managing Director Sachidanand Upadhyay added that the agreement will help deliver sustainable energy projects that benefit both the economy and the environment.
The MoU is valid for five years and provides a framework for the companies to work together on future green hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
