Green hydrogen push: Greenlyzer, Royal Group sign deal for ASEAN projects

Singapore-based Greenlyzer and Royal Group of Cambodia have signed a memorandum of agreement to speed up the development of green hydrogen energy projects in Cambodia and across Southeast Asia.

The partnership will focus on pilot projects using Greenlyzer’s Green Moving Grid system, a hydrogen-based solution designed to supply power to data centres, industrial facilities, and areas with limited or disrupted electricity access, Asian Power reported.

At the centre of the system is the Alpha Energy System, which uses artificial intelligence to manage energy production and distribution in real time. The companies said the technology is aimed at meeting rising energy demand in the region, where industrial growth and digital expansion are putting pressure on existing power systems.

The agreement was signed at an event in Singapore attended by senior leaders from both groups, including representatives of Alpha Ladder Group, which owns Greenlyzer.

The deal also builds on ongoing cooperation between Alpha Ladder Group and Royal Group in areas such as digital finance. This includes work with MetaComp Pte. Ltd. and Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc. to explore cross-border payment systems linking Singapore and Cambodia.

The companies said the partnership is part of broader efforts to support cleaner energy solutions and strengthen infrastructure across the ASEAN region.
