Beijing’s aggressive push toward electrification and reduced dependence on imported energy has insulated it from global oil and gas supply disruptions more effectively than many other economies. Beijing is now expected to accelerate its support for green hydrogen and derivative fuels, even if initial measures are more symbolic than game-changing, industry sources say.
