CHN Energy commissions 400 MW solar&Hydrogen plant


CHN Energy, a Beijing-headquartered Chinese state-owned energy, has completed the Rudong Integrated Solar-Hydrogen-Storage Project through its Guohua Energy Investment Jiangsu Branch. This initiative will take place at the Yangkou Port site in Rudong, Jiangsu province, eastern China. This project consists of 400 MW solar power station, 60 MW/120 MWh energy storage facility and green hydrogen plant that produces 1,500 normal cubic meters of hydrogen gas per hour. The total electricity production from the solar facilities will be about 468 million KWh per year. This facility will be able to produce 482 tons of green hydrogen per year. The project completed full-system joint commissioning, with all performance indicators meeting design requirements.
