Bavaria is supporting the hydrogen economy in the Free State with 65 million euros as part of the Bavarian Electrolyzer Funding Program (the program totals 150 million euros). The goal of this program, the first of its kind at the state level, is to develop a sustainable electrolyzer infrastructure in the Free State.
By nominating Katherina Reiche as Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger hopes for progress for the economy and less ideology at the federal level, especially with regard to hydrogen in mobility.
Munich. Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs and State Chairman of the FREIE WÄHLER Bavaria, said:
With the new electrolyzers, we are laying the foundation for a strong domestic hydrogen economy.
“The selected companies impressively demonstrate how important progress is possible with innovative strength and entrepreneurial drive.”
The hydrogen from the subsidized plants can be used directly in industry, heating, and mobility, thus making a tangible contribution to the decarbonization of our economy. – Hubert Aiwanger
