European Energy expands BESS and Hydrogen in Denmark


European Energy, a renewable energy firm expanded its battery storage capacity during the first half of 2026, installing seven systems totaling 167 MW / 545 MWh across Denmark and the Baltics. The company has six additional battery projects under construction across Europe and Australia to reduce balancing costs and capture price risks. Its operating renewable portfolio reached 1.76 GW, while first-half power sales generated EUR 76 million. In addition, the developer advanced its Powered Land data center pipeline and partnered with ENGIE on large-scale green hydrogen projects.
