Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, a New Delhi-based central public sector enterprise under MNRE, has signed an MoU with MahaGenco Renewable Energy Limited. MahaGenco REL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, based in Mumbai. The agreement was signed to jointly explore renewable energy projects and emerging clean energy technologies. The proposed pipeline has a potential capacity of up to 5 GW in Maharashtra and across India. The scope includes FDRE, RTC renewable power, BESS, PSP, green hydrogen, green ammonia, power trading and project monitoring consultancy.
