Subsidies alone won’t unlock clean hydrogen projects. Guaranteed offtake, market alignment, and infrastructure all need to come together.
That was the message from H2 View’s latest exclusive webinar, which heard Ryze Power’s Head of Policy and Strategic Projects, Dr Lee Roberts, tell viewers the mindset was changing on project development.
“A lot of projects in the past have been built with a build-it-and-they-will-come mentality, assuming a capex subsidy alone would unlock them,” he said.
