Jakson Green, a green energy transition platform, on Monday said it has signed a green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) through its consortium for supply of 85,000 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of green ammonia.

According to the official press release, the estimated contract value is about $465 million over the contract period. The agreement follows a letter of award received by Jakson Green and its consortium from SECI in August 2025.

“We are proud to be one of the contributors in NGHM which has been designed to accelerate India’s transition towards clean energy, strengthen energy security and build domestic capabilities across the green ammonia value chain,” said Bikesh Ogra, Vice-Chairman and Global CEO, Jakson Green.

The supply is under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (SIGHT) – Component II: Incentive for Procurement of Green Ammonia Production under the National Green Hydrogen Mission , for supply to Coromandel International’s facility in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The company secured the capacity through a competitive bidding process conducted by SECI under the SIGHT programme.

It is also developing two green hydrogen projects of 5,000 TPA each for Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation through its associate.

The company also has ongoing EPC projects in the green molecules segment involving integrated plants for ethanol, carbon capture and hydrogen with capacities of 10 tonnes per day, 25 tonnes per day and 3 tonnes per day, respectively.
