Gen-Hy, a French start-up offering innovative solutions for green hydrogen production, has confirmed its participation in the Hydrogen Business For Climate Forum on 4 December 2025 at the Atria Congress Centre in Belfort, to help accelerate the emergence of a European hydrogen economy.

For this 5th edition, “Safe & Scale – Secure and Accelerate”, the Hydrogen Business For Climate Forum is evolving to respond to the new climate, economic and strategic landscape and proposes to reflect on three major objectives to launch the hydrogen markets: safe, available energy that is essential to the energy mix.

Gen-Hy will take advantage of this strategic compass to learn and exchange with nearly 400 international players in the hydrogen sector from the private and public sectors, politicians, experts, academics and investors, and will participate in the round table discussion “Produce more, produce better: at the heart of the challenges of sovereignty and decarbonisation of uses” to share its vision and expertise.

Construction of the Gen-Hy plant at the Allenjoie site in the Pays de Montbéliard is progressing. Scheduled to come on stream in the first quarter of 2026, it will have an annual production capacity of 350 AEM electrolysers (from 100 kW to 2 MW) as it ramps up production.
