Jamshedpur: The director general (DG) of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), N Kalaiselvi, on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the test facilities and infrastructure under the National Green Hydrogen Mission of Government of India, an initiative that aims to boost indigenous hydrogen production in the country.Speaking at the 75th foundation day of the CSIR-NML Jamshedpur, Kalaiselvi, said that NML has upheld this mandate with distinction adding that CSIR interventions have always improved the nation’s positioning in the global map.Elaborating on the need of developing technologies, which shall cater to the future needs to collaborate with startups to attain the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat and achieve Vikshit Bharat 2047, Kalaiselvi said, “We need to view every challenge as an opportunity to develop indigenous technologies.”
