Hydrogen Utopia International PLC (LON: HUI) announced it has been granted an Investment Registration Certificate by the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), formally authorising the company to operate in the Kingdom as a 100% foreign-owned entity.
The certification enables HUI to establish a local branch, hire staff, lease facilities, and participate in both public and private projects, including government tenders and research and development initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The company said the move positions it to expand waste-to-hydrogen and decarbonisation projects across the Middle East using InEnTec’s TRL9 plasma gasification technology, which converts non-recyclable plastics into low-carbon hydrogen and syngas.
Chief Executive Aleksandra Binkowska described the certification as a major milestone, adding that it “marks a significant step in expanding Hydrogen Utopia’s circular economy solutions and building partnerships within one of the world’s fastest-growing clean energy markets.”
