While countries like Germany, Japan, China, and the United States already produce green hydrogen on a large scale, Chile leads in South America. Argentina is taking its first steps in this sector. To attract investments and ensure legal security, regulatory framework will be key.
If the project materializes, Chubut could become one of the most relevant energy centers in Latin America. It would supply the local market and also, as local media outlets indicate, export clean energy worldwide.
