They’re building a brand-new 20 MW green hydrogen plant in Karmsund, with the launch slated for 2028. Once it’s up and running, the facility is expected to produce more than 3,000 tonnes of green hydrogen every year. What makes this setup stand out? It’ll use a barge-based modular electrolysis system—something that’s still pretty rare and offers serious flexibility.
